Daniel Ziblatt

Daniel Ziblatt is Eaton Professor of the Science of Government at Harvard University and director of the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies. He researches democracy, democratization, and historical political economy, focusing on Europe and the United States. He is co-author of the New York Times best-seller How Democracies Die (2018) and author of Conservative Parties and the Birth of Democracy (2017), which won multiple prestigious awards.
