Col. William F. Cody

William F. Cody, known as Buffalo Bill, was an American scout, buffalo hunter, Pony Express rider, Indian fighter, and showman. He lived from 1846 to 1917 and became famous for his exploits in the American West, later dramatizing these experiences in his Wild West shows. He wrote an autobiography detailing his early life and adventures, which contributed to his legendary status.
