Clemantine Wamariya

Clemantine Wamariya is a Rwandan-American storyteller, human rights advocate, and author. Born in Kigali, Rwanda, she was displaced by conflict and migrated through seven African countries as a child before being granted refugee status in the United States at age twelve. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Yale University and lives in San Francisco.
