Claire Chao

Claire Chao is a Chinese-American writer born in Hong Kong in 1962. She co-authored the memoir "Remembering Shanghai: A Memoir of Socialites, Scholars and Scoundrels" with her mother, Isabel Sun Chao, which explores five generations of their family history against the backdrop of China's turbulent history. Claire graduated with highest honors from Princeton University in Art and Archaeology and has a background in luxury brand marketing in Asia.
