Charlotte Mason

Charlotte Mason (1842–1923) was a British educator and author who developed a revolutionary educational philosophy emphasizing broad, stimulating education for children in a noncompetitive, Biblically-based way. She co-founded the Parents' National Educational Union and wrote extensively to support parents and teachers in home education. Her work remains influential in Christian education and homeschooling movements.
