Charlotte Lennox

Charlotte Lennox (c. 1729–1804) was an 18th-century English novelist and literary critic, best known for her novel The Female Quixote (1752). She was praised by prominent literary figures of her time such as Samuel Johnson, Henry Fielding, and Samuel Richardson. Lennox had a prolific career spanning over four decades, producing novels, poetry, and drama.
