Bernard Roth

Bernard (Bernie) Roth is a professor of engineering and the academic director of the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school) at Stanford University. He is a co-founder of the d.school and has taught a class at Stanford for over 40 years that encourages students to take control of their lives through personal projects. He is also a pioneer in robotics and kinematics.
