Benjamin Graham

Benjamin Graham (1894–1976) was a British-born American financial analyst, economist, investor, and professor, widely known as the father of value investing. He authored foundational texts in the field, including Security Analysis (1934) and The Intelligent Investor (1949). His investment philosophy emphasized independent thinking, emotional detachment, and thorough financial analysis to identify undervalued stocks with a margin of safety.
