Barry Strauss

Barry S. Strauss is a professor of history and classics at Cornell University and a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. He is a leading expert on ancient military history and has authored numerous books on ancient history, including 'Ten Caesars: Roman Emperors from Augustus to Constantine'. His works have been translated into nineteen languages, and he has received fellowships from prestigious institutions and awards such as the Lucio Colletti Journalism Prize for literature and Cornell’s Clark Award for Excellence in Teaching.
