Barry Pain

Barry Eric Odell Pain (1864–1928) was an English journalist, poet, humorist, and writer known for his parody and lightly humorous stories. He was a prominent contributor to The Granta and was the first author labeled as a 'new humorist' in the 1890s. He also wrote horror stories and was interested in the occult.
