Arthur Koestler

Arthur Koestler (1905–1983) was a Hungarian-born British novelist, journalist, and political thinker. Initially a supporter of Marxism-Leninism, he became disillusioned with communism and is best known for his novel Darkness at Noon (1940), which critiques totalitarianism. He wrote extensively on politics, philosophy, and science throughout his life.
