An Anti-Slavery Convention Of American Women

The Anti-Slavery Convention of American Women was a collective of women activists who met in New York City in May 1837 to organize and promote abolitionist efforts. The group included prominent figures such as Mary Parker, Lucretia Mott, the Grimké sisters, and Lydia Maria Child, and was instrumental in linking women's activism with the anti-slavery movement.
