The Renegades
The Renegades is a 3-book audiobook series by Rebecca Yarros. Every entry below includes narrator ratings, listening context, and a clear verdict — start with Wilder.
Books in This Series
Wilder
A predictable but emotionally potent new adult romance elevated significantly by Christian Fox's standout narration as Paxton Wilder. Worth the credit for the performance alone if you can tolerate some manufactured second-act conflict.
Nova
A slow-burn second-chance romance between a reckless snowboarder and the woman he destroyed, elevated by strong dual narration. The push-pull rhythm tests patience in the middle third but pays off when it finally breaks.
Rebel
Rebel pairs a forbidden student-teacher romance with a convincing extreme sports backdrop, elevated by strong dual narration. The middle drags slightly, but the relationship and ending are worth the investment.
