Tom Godwin

Tom Godwin (1915–1980) was an American science fiction writer active from the 1950s to the 1970s. He published three novels and around thirty short stories, with his most famous work being the short story "The Cold Equations." His writing often explored themes of survival and the harsh realities of space.
