Timothy Zahn
Timothy Zahn (born 1951) is an American science fiction and fantasy author best known for his Star Wars novels, especially the Thrawn trilogy, which revitalized the Star Wars franchise. He holds a B.S. in physics from Michigan State University and an M.S. from the University of Illinois. Zahn has written over 60 novels and numerous short stories, including original series and Star Wars Expanded Universe works.
