Stewart Edward White

Stewart Edward White (1873–1946) was an American author and conservationist known for his adventure and travel writings with an emphasis on natural history and outdoor living. He was an avid camper and outdoorsman, and his works often reflect his experiences in mining and lumber camps. His most famous work is The Blazed Trail, a best-seller that explores the life of lumbermen and pioneers in the northern woods of Michigan.
