Sax Rohmer

Sax Rohmer was the pen name of Arthur Henry Sarsfield Ward (1883–1959), an English novelist best known for creating the master criminal Dr. Fu Manchu. He began his career as a poet, songwriter, and comedy sketch writer before becoming a prolific author of mystery, thriller, and weird fiction. His works often featured exotic and occult themes, reflecting his lifelong interest in ancient Egypt and the occult.
