Saint Teresa Of Avila

Saint Teresa of Ávila (1515–1582) was a prominent Spanish mystic, Carmelite nun, and writer during the Counter-Reformation. She was a reformer of the Carmelite Order and is considered a founder of the Discalced Carmelites. Teresa is renowned for her spiritual writings and mystical theology, especially her work Interior Castle.
