Saint Augustine

Saint Augustine (354–430) was a theologian, philosopher, and bishop of Hippo in present-day Algeria. He is recognized as a Doctor of the Church in Roman Catholicism and is best known for his influential works that shaped Christian thought and biblical exegesis. His writings include autobiographical, philosophical, and theological works that have had a lasting impact on Western philosophy and Christianity.
