Roger Simpson

Roger Simpson is an acclaimed Australian writer and producer known for creating seventeen television series including the highly acclaimed telemovie series Halifax f.p. and its sequel Halifax: Retribution. He has won twelve awards for writing, including nine Australian Writers Guild AWGIE Awards, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Australian Writers’ Guild in 2021. His debut novel, Halifax: Transgression, is based on his popular TV series and marks his transition from screenwriting to novel writing.
