Robert Sherard

Robert Harborough Sherard (1861–1943) was an English writer and journalist, known as the first and most prolific biographer of Oscar Wilde. He was a friend of Wilde's for about 20 years and wrote several biographies about him, including 'Oscar Wilde: The Story of an Unhappy Friendship'. Sherard was educated at Elizabeth College, Guernsey, the University of Oxford, and the University of Bonn.
