Ray Cummings

Ray Cummings (1887–1957) was an American science fiction author considered one of the founding fathers of the science fiction pulp genre. He worked as a personal assistant and technical writer for Thomas Edison before becoming a prolific writer with over 750 novels and short stories. His most famous work is The Girl in the Golden Atom, published in 1922.
