Orison Swett Marden

Orison Swett Marden (1848-1924) was an American inspirational author and founder of Success magazine. He wrote extensively on achieving success in life, emphasizing virtues such as self-reliance, perseverance, and hard work. Orphaned young, he was inspired by Samuel Smiles' Self-Help and became a key figure in the New Thought Movement and the modern success movement in America.
