Nadine Dorries

Nadine Dorries is a British author and former Conservative MP born in Liverpool in the 1950s. She grew up in a working-class family and was inspired by her childhood and Irish grandmother for her novels. She trained as a nurse before establishing and selling her own business, and later entered politics, serving as MP for Mid Bedfordshire from 2005 until 2023.
