Michael Bond

Michael Bond (1926–2017) was an English author best known for creating Paddington Bear, a beloved character in children's literature. He wrote nearly 150 books including children's series and adult novels, and was recognized for his contributions to literature with an OBE in 1997 and a CBE in 2015. His works have been translated into over 40 languages and have inspired films, television, and stage adaptations.
