Mary Norton

Mary Norton (1903-1992) was a British children's author best known for her classic series The Borrowers, which features tiny people living secretly in human houses. She was educated in London, worked as an actress, and wrote several beloved children's books including The Magic Bed-Knob and Bonfires and Broomsticks.
