Laozi

Laozi, also known as Lao Tzu, was a legendary ancient Chinese philosopher traditionally credited as the author of the Tao Te Ching, a foundational text of Taoism. He is considered a sage and is revered both as a philosopher and a deity in Taoist religion. His historical existence is debated, but his teachings have profoundly influenced Chinese philosophy and culture.
