Kody Keplinger

Kody Keplinger is a New York Times bestselling American author known for young adult and middle grade novels. She wrote her debut novel, The DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend), at age 17 during her senior year of high school. Born in rural western Kentucky and legally blind since birth, she is an advocate for disability representation and often includes queer and disabled characters in her work.
