John S. Jenkins

John Stilwell Jenkins (1818-1852) was an American author and philosopher known for his literary contributions in the 19th century. He is best known for his work "Heroines of History," a collection of short biographies of prominent female historical figures. Jenkins died before completing this work, which was finished according to his wishes and instructions.
