Jeanine Cummins

Jeanine Cummins, born December 6, 1974, is an American author of Irish and Puerto Rican heritage. She has written five books including the bestselling memoir A Rip in Heaven and novels such as The Outside Boy, The Crooked Branch, American Dirt, and Speak to Me of Home. Cummins grew up in Maryland and studied creative writing at Towson University.
