Gene Sharp

Gene Sharp (1928–2018) was an American political scientist and professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He was a leading scholar on nonviolent resistance and the founder of the Albert Einstein Institution, dedicated to advancing the study of nonviolent action. Sharp's work has influenced numerous pro-democracy and resistance movements worldwide.
