Ferrar Fenton Bible

Ferrar Fenton (1832–1920) was a British businessman and scholar who dedicated about fifty years to translating the Bible into modern English. He was self-taught in biblical languages and aimed to produce a translation that reflected the original texts as accurately as possible. His work remains in print today, though it never gained wide acceptance.
