Etaf Rum

Etaf Rum is a Palestinian-American author born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, to Palestinian parents who lived in refugee camps. She entered an arranged marriage young and later pursued higher education, earning degrees in English Language and Literature, Philosophy, and American and British Literature. Her debut novel, A Woman Is No Man, explores the lives of Palestinian-American women across generations.
