Elinore Pruitt Stewart

Elinore Pruitt Stewart (1876–1933) was an American homesteader and memoirist known for her vivid letters describing life on a Wyoming homestead in the early 20th century. She moved from the city to Wyoming, married a rancher, and documented her pioneering experiences in letters that were published and brought her nationwide fame.
