Dorothy Canfield Fisher

Dorothy Canfield Fisher (1879–1958) was an American author, educational reformer, and social activist. She was a best-selling author in the early 20th century and a strong advocate for women's rights, racial equality, and lifelong education. Eleanor Roosevelt named her one of the ten most influential women in the United States.
