Cynthia Kraack

Cynthia Kraack is a Midwest author known for fiction, nonfiction, and short stories. She holds an MFA from the University of Southern Maine's Stonecoast Program in Creative Writing. Kraack has won multiple awards including the 2009 Northeastern Minnesota Book Award for Fiction and the 2014 Midwest Book Awards for Literary and Contemporary Fiction. She co-wrote the military history book '40 Thieves on Saipan' which won two 2020 Best Book Awards.
