Chuck Palahniuk

Chuck Palahniuk is an American novelist born in 1962, known for his transgressional fiction that explores dark, provocative themes with a minimalist style. He began writing in his early 30s, inspired by workshops led by Tom Spanbauer, and gained fame with his novel Fight Club, which won the 1997 Oregon Book Award and was adapted into a popular film. His works often feature marginalized characters and employ dark humor and social commentary.
