Charlie Mackesy

Charlie Mackesy is a British artist, illustrator, and author known for his bestselling book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse (2019) and its sequel Always Remember: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and the Storm (2025). He began his career as a cartoonist for The Spectator and later became a book illustrator for Oxford University Press. His work has been widely exhibited and featured in various public spaces worldwide.
