Charles Todd

Charles Todd is the pen name of a mother-and-son writing team, Caroline and Charles Todd (Carolyn and David Watjen). They are known for their historical mystery novels set primarily in post-World War I Great Britain. Their most notable series features Scotland Yard Inspector Ian Rutledge, a war-damaged detective struggling with PTSD. Caroline Todd passed away in 2021, and Charles Todd has continued writing under the name.
