Charles Kingsley

Charles Kingsley (1819-1875) was a British author, historian, and clergyman known for his interest in history and social reform. He wrote several historical novels and children's books, including 'The Heroes, or Greek Fairy Tales for My Children' (1856), which retells Greek myths for young readers. He was also a Regius Professor of Modern History at Cambridge and a tutor to the Prince of Wales.
