Carolyn Jessop

Carolyn Jessop is an American author and former member of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS). She wrote the autobiographical memoir 'Escape' about her upbringing in the FLDS polygamist sect, her coerced arranged marriage, and her courageous escape with her eight children. She was the first woman to be granted full custody of her children in a contested FLDS case and has been involved in legal actions against the sect's abuses.
