Barabra Hofland

Barbara Hofland (1770–1844) was an English writer known for her didactic and moral stories for children, as well as schoolbooks and poetry. She wrote about 66 works, often depicting the struggles of Christian families against hardships. She was also a friend of notable figures like architect John Soane and writers Maria Edgeworth and Mary Russell Mitford.
