Anna Downes

Anna Downes is a British-born author and former actress who now lives on the NSW Central Coast in Australia with her family. She studied Drama at the University of Manchester and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London before transitioning to writing after moving to Australia in 2011. Her debut novel, The Safe Place, was an international bestseller published simultaneously in Australia, the US, and the UK in 2020.
