Amelia B. Edwards

Amelia B. Edwards (1831–1892) was an English novelist, journalist, traveller, and Egyptologist. She is known for her literary works including novels, ghost stories, and travelogues, and for her advocacy in the preservation of Egyptian antiquities. She co-founded the Egypt Exploration Fund and contributed significantly to Egyptology.
