Alexander von Ungern-Sternberg

Peter Alexander Freiherr von Ungern-Sternberg (1806–1869) was a Baltic German novelist, poet, and painter who wrote under the pseudonym Sylvan. He was known for historical and biographical novels, novellas, and ironic tales, and was active in Berlin's literary circles in the mid-19th century.
