Albert Camus

Albert Camus (1913–1960) was a French Algerian philosopher, novelist, playwright, and journalist. He is best known for his works exploring absurdism and the human condition, including The Stranger and The Plague. Camus was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1957 for his significant literary contributions illuminating the problems of the human conscience.
